Tiny Balloons – New Party Trend Alert!

TINY BALLOONS – THE ULTIMATE IN CUTE

Tiny little balloons are one of my favorite party decoration. So cute and versatile these balloons can be filled with helium (a tiny and very inexpensive amount!) or can be blown up with puff.  There are lots of great things that you can do with these little balloons, I promise you however you choose to use them they are sure to be a real ‘crowd pleaser’.

Thsese cute cupcake toppers are so easy to make: inflate the balloon but not fully, tie it off and poke the blunt end of a skewer or tooth pick into the knot.

Balloons From Seed

What do you grow in your greenhouse?

We recently organised a photo shoot for some of the shops lovely new products. As it was due to be a sunny day and as I was emptying our rickety old greenhouse ready for its timely demolition I thought it would be fun to somehow include it in some of the shots. So what could be more apt than to fill it with balloons! I hurriedly started blowing them up (yes no gadgetry involved just plain ol’ puff) and was thinking what a super idea this was…an hour later with only the floor of the greenhouse covered, red cheeked and parched I wasn’t feeling quite so jolly!
I love the results though, well done again to the super camera action of Abigail Fahey.

Balloon Ideas Without Helium

I whole-heartedly believe that no party is complete without a balloon, as far as I’m concerned one single balloon can create a party!

Personally I adore balloons when they are filled with helium, I love the way they float effortlessly in the air and I adore the way childen are captivated by these incredible objects on the ends of string… I found them totally magical as a child and I still do.

Helium has its downsides though, it is expensive and is becoming more so as it is currently in short supply. Also, helium filled latex balloons, although beautiful, do not stay afloat long, they need to be filled on the day of the event and may only stay in the air for as little as 12 hours!

There is plently of style that can be added with balloons just filled with good old oxygen. The good news is they are inexpensive and can last for weeks, here are some ideas and inspiration as to what to do with balloons at your next party!

Balloon garlands are so simple to create, string your balloons together for a fun and bright bunting. This is a really good way to use balloons in an outdoor setting as they wont blow away!
